Manchester United and interim manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer continue to march on under the former club striker with the latest win against Crystal Palace.

The Old Trafford outfit saw off the Eagles for an eighth successive win away from home in all competitions for the first time in their history.

Those eight victories include wins over top-six rivals like Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Chelsea.

An injury-hit Manchester United defeated Crystal Palace 3-1 courtesy goals from Romelu Lukaku (2) and Ashley Young.

Manchester United were missing as many as nine players through various injuries but that didn’t stop the three-time European champions from getting the three points at stake.

Lukaku gave Manchester United the lead in the first half after a solo run from Luke Shaw.

Romelu Lukaku had praised Shaw as the club’s best player this season before the Palace game.

The Belgian international attacker doubled the Red Devils’ lead in the second half before Joel Ward pulled one back for Crystal Palace.

Manchester United skipper Ashley Young wrapped up the win in the dying minutes of the game to give his side a fantastic win.

The Red Devils moved to within one point of the Gunners as a result of the win.
