Liverpool’s attempt to secure the signature of German Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig star Timo Werner might have hit the dead rock as it is claimed by German newspaper BILD that he has already agreed on personal terms with Bayern Munich.
Timo Werner has been linked with a move to the Anfield for a long period of time with expectations that the deal would be dusted in the last winter window but the Reds’ boss Jurgen Klopp made it clear that he is happy with his players and will not involve in any deal
The Merseyside outfit were looking forward to having Timo Werner as a replacement for Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi who are both pushing for a move away from the club for lack of playing time.
Timo Werner has proved to be the player for the Reds to compliment the efforts of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino as he has so far scored 56 goals in 101 games
The star player will be looking forward to uniting with his former teammate Naby Keita who is currently at the Anfield.
However, it is suggested that there is yet to be an agreement between the two clubs which means, no deal for Timo Werner.
