What Arsene Wenger Said About Juventus-Bound Ramsey
Ex-Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Aaron Ramsey will be a big miss for the club when he leaves for Juventus at the end of this season.
Wenger was speaking at the Laureus Sport for Good presentation as he said that the Welsh international star will be an interesting addition for Juventus.
The Frenchman also praised the quality of the player as he talked about how he makes midfield runs before adding that there are few players that make intelligent midfield runs like the ones Aaron Ramsey has made throughout his career.
Arsene Wenger was the Arsenal manager for 22 years before he resigned from his post last summer despite the fact that he had one year left on his former contract.
Wenger played a big role as Arsenal beat Premier League rivals Manchester United to the transfer of Aaron Ramsey in 2008.
The Welshman snubbed Manchester United to sign for Arsenal from Cardiff City in a deal worth £5m.
Aaron Ramsey is the longest-serving player at Arsenal at the moment having spent 11 years at the club.
The 28-year-old has signed a pre-contract agreement at Italian giants Juventus ahead of a free transfer move this summer after Arsenal officials failed to give him a new contract.
