Arsenal will have to see off the interest of several Premier League teams in their quest to sign Birmingham City striker Che according to reports coming out of the media in the United Kingdom.
Daily Mirror claim that Arsenal and four others are keen on a transfer for the in-form Che Adams who has scored 19 goals in 32 Championship games for Midlands club Birmingham City this season.
His goals have pushed Birmingham City to contention for a playoff spot at the end of the season.
They are just two spots off the last spot for the playoffs (8th position).
Che Adams, 22, joined Birmingham City from Sheffield United in the summer of 2016.
The striker has shown a remarkable improvement in his output this season in comparison to his two previous campaigns.
He scored just 16 goals over his first two seasons as Birmingham City player before this campaign.
Che Adams is also attracting interest from Premier League clubs like Manchester United, Southampton, Burnley and Watford.
Arsenal have been over-reliant on the striking duo of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette for goals this season with both strikers responsible for 25 of the Gunners’ goals in the Premier League this season and Che Adams could be an alternative to the aforementioned duo for the North Londoners.
