It has been revealed that the best of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp could only be felt after the departure of Zeljko Buvac as assistant.

Suggestions are that Zeljko Buvac had an influence in the team which reduced the control of the German boss at the club when he first arrived in 2015.

Zeljko Buvac was viewed as the brain of the team until he departed in April 2018 for ‘personal reasons’ which is what gave the German boss the free hand to run the team.

Since leaving the club, Klopp became firm and in his decision making and that was reflected in their outing last campaign as they got to the finals of the Champions League as well as finishing second in the Premier League.

More so, a number of players were developed while their best was seen in addition o the good transfer decision to bring in Virgil Van Dijk and Joe Gomez.

However, this season is also speaking for itself for Jurgen Klopp as he is undoubtedly in for-front for the race to win the EPL title this term.

Meanwhile, the former Borussia Dortmund boss will hope to change the narrative by winning the first trophy as a Liverpool boss.
