There are fears that Chelsea players might be fighting back at manager Maurizio Sarri after their 6-0 hammering in the hands of title contenders Man City at the weekend.
It would be recalled that the former Napoli boss came after his players following their 2-0 defeat against Arsenal and the same thing was repeated when the West London outfit were humiliated by Bournemouth by 4-0.
The Italian boss had stated that his side lacked motivation and were difficult to be motivated before going on after the second defeat to claim that they know nothing about his ‘Sarri Ball’.
However, latest report after their defeat against Chelsea claims that there is now rancour in the dressing room with players beginning to doubt the ability of the coach and his tactics.
It is understood that the West London players are unhappy with the Italian boss and might not accept his rigid and automatic approach to training which seems not to be working at the moment.
This development brings the future of Maurizio Sarri in doubt at the Stamford Bridge knowing that he might not be able to survive it, should the embarrassing defeats continue.
It is not news that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has got little patience for bad results.
