Liverpool are feared to be close to losing their star forward Daniel Sturridge at the end of the season.
Daniel Sturridge has been linked with a number of clubs over time and it was expected that he leaves the Anfield in the last January winter transfer window but that did not happen as manager Jurgen Klopp insisted on having him on the ground as a cover for his three attackers.
The England international is known to be a player of big quality but he has not been able to beat the competition from the likes of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino in the attack.
The trio have been able to hand better result to the German boss and that is why he decided to stick with them but he has claimed that Daniel Sturridge would be a cover in case of injuries especially after Dominic Solanke was sent out on loan.
However, North London outfit Tottenham are reported to be keen to add Daniel Sturridge to their squad ahead of next season with manager Mauricio Pochettino being a big fan of the England international.
It is therefore not clear if the Reds boss will have a change of mind and release Daniel Sturridge to secure more playing time elsewhere.
