Arsenal Face European Competition For Szoboszlai
Premier League giants Arsenal will have to fend off European competition in their quest to sign young Hungarian midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
The 18-year-old has been touted as a possible signing for several European sides including the Gunners.
German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, as well as the Italian Serie A duo of Inter Milan and Juventus, are all interested in the player according to the publication from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.
Dominik Szoboszlai plays his club football for Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg.
Italian Serie A club Atalanta tried to sign him on loan during the just concluded winter transfer window but their bid was turned down by his Austrian Bundesliga side.
German champions Bayern are strong contenders for Szoboszlai as they attempt to continue bolstering their squad with young and promising players.
The Bavarian giants have signed young talents like Chris Richards, Taylor Booth, Alphonso Davies and Jann-Fiete Arp in recent months.
Dominik Szoboszlai is rated at €10m and the Hungarian has scored one goal and also provided one assist in six games.
The player has enjoyed comparison with Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos because of his playing style.
He has scored 16 goals and 11 assists for Liefering FC this season.
Liefering FC is the feeder team of Red Bull Salzburg.
