Juventus winger Douglas Costa has fuelled talks of a transfer to the Premier League with his activity on social media.
The 28-year-old could move to the top flight of English football in the summer with Chelsea and Manchester United both reportedly keen on a deal to sign him.
The Brazilian international star liked a Twitter post from Sport Musing about the Red Devils’ interest in signing him as reported by the Metro and that singular action has sent fans of Manchester United into ecstasy.
Italian media outlet Calciomercato had earlier revealed the interest of the three-time European champions as well as that of their Premier League rivals Chelsea.
Both clubs will have to spend at least £60m to prise him away from his Italian club.
Douglas Costa has had to endure a frustrating season till date at Juventus following his lack of playing time under club manager Maximiliano Allegri.
The Brazilian player has started just seven league games this season though he has made 17 appearances in total.
He has been able to score just one league goal.
Juventus made his transfer from German champions Bayern Munich permanent at the start of the season in a deal reported to be around €44m having initially joined the club on loan for last season.
