Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven have reportedly slapped a €30m asking price on one of their players in a bid to ward off interest from clubs like Premier League giants Manchester United.

According to the publication from insidefutbol, PSV Eindhoven won’t accept any transfer fee less than €30m for winger Steven Bergwijn.

The two-cap Dutch international has been attracting the interest of several European heavyweights including Manchester United and AC Milan.

Clubs like Inter Milan, Napoli and Manchester United have sent scouts to watch Steven Bergwijn in action for Dutch Eredivisie giants PSV this season.

The 21-year-old has been in superb form for PSV this term following a return of nine goals and eight assists in 17 league appearances.

His form has not gone unnoticed amongst the major European clubs with recent reports claiming that Italian Serie A club AC Milan made a loan bid to sign the winger this month.

It was revealed that the Italians made a loan bid for him with the option of making the deal permanent in the summer for €20m but those reports are not true according to the above mentioned publication.

Steven Bergwijn is likely to stay at PSV Eindhoven until the end of this season at least before weighing up his options in the summer.
