It has been revealed that English Premier League leaders Liverpool are still interested in the signature of Celtic winger James Forrest and might make a bid for him in this winter transfer window.

James Forrest has been on Liverpool radar for many months with manager Jurgen Klopp being a big fan according to Scottish Sun.

The report claim that should the Reds fail to submit a bid for the star player in this January winter transfer window, they are sure to submit a bid for him in the coming summer window.

James Forrest is quite affordable for the Merseyside as he is understood to be valued by Celtic within the region of £8 million.

The star player is no doubt one of the best wingers since the Scottish league and most importantly for his side which is the reason why he is surprised to be wanted by top European sides.

There is no doubt about the quality of the 27-year-old and what he will bring into the Jurgen Klopp side especially adding strength to the already solid attack.

However, James Forrest is sure to jump at an offer from the Reds knowing that it would be a plus to his career to have played in the Premier League.
