English Premier League outfit Liverpool are believed to be expecting an official contact, either through a letter or mail or a call from the Egyptian Football Association over their star player Mohamed Salah.

It was earlier reported by a top official of the country’s official that the star player would be left out of next month’s international window with the EFA vice president disclosing that Mohamed Salah will not be invited to their last Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Niger Republic and another friendly game with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

However, the Reds are happy with the statement made by the country’s official but there is a need to hear from them officially and through the right process.

With the unconfirmed speculation being a boost, it will help the Reds to have their star player available all through the fixtures as well as help them fight for the title against Man City.

So far this season, Mohamed Salah is Liverpool’s highest goal scorer with 19 already to his name across all competitions and as far as the Premier League is concerned, he leads with 16 goals in 25 games.

Meanwhile, staying put will help Liverpool have Salah to themselves for the games ahead.
