It has been a progressive step at a time for Liverpool as they have their eyes set on the English Premier League title.

Another convincing 4-1 win by the Reds with a brace from Sadio Mane and others from Mohamed Salah and Xherdan Shaqiri to complete the scoreline against Cardiff city on Saturday.

Having come very close to the title last season by finishing second behind Manchester City, the Anfield side are looking at having it to themselves this time around as they have settled with 26 points in 10 games to claim the top before the Pep Guardiola team have their own match day.

However, United legend, Gary Neville thinks there is something that Liverpool must do in order to be real title contenders after starting the season well.

He noted that they play fast attacking football and have got the squad to execute games but certain players must not be dropped while trying to rotate the squad in order to ensure rest and balance in the team.

According to him, Sadio Mane and Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah should not be dropped, adding that Liverpool must ensure they are fully fit as their absence may go a long way in affecting the team.
