South London club Crystal Palace want to sign an Arsenal player this summer as reported by various media outlets in the British media.
According to a specific report from the Daily Mirror, Crystal Palace are keen on a free transfer move for Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck.
It was revealed that Palace boss Roy Hodgson is a big fan of the Three Lions of England player and that he will be offered a contract at Selhurst as long as he’s able to prove his fitness.
Danny Welbeck, 27, is currently out injured with a serious ankle injury.
He suffered the injury during the home clash with Portuguese Super League outfit Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League.
Welbeck was stretchered off in the first half of the game after landing awkwardly.
Despite his injury, Arsenal were able to book their spot in the first knockout stage of the Europa League via a goalless draw with Sporting Lisbon at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners will face Belarusian side BATE Borisov in the last 32 of the competition starting with the first leg next week.
Danny Welbeck was previously linked with a move to Crystal Palace before his unfortunate injury in November.
The Eagles wanted to sign him in a £10m deal during the winter transfer window but his injury woes prevented the transfer from happening.
