11-time Premier League winners Manchester United have been handed a major transfer boost following the news that Italian Serie A giants Juventus have shifted their transfer stance on petite forward Paulo Dybala.
Manchester United are long-term admirers of Argentine international attacker Dybala and the latest development will go a long way to boost the Red Devils’ quest to sign him.
The publication from popular media Caught Offside claims that Juventus have moved the goal post as regards Dybala’s status at the club and that the 25-year-old is now seen as dispensable at the Juventus Stadium.
The £88m-rated player has moved from indispensable to dispensable in a matter of months and that’s mainly due to the arrival of Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo last summer.
Ronaldo, 34, signed for Juve from Real Madrid at the start of this season in a club-record deal worth at least €100m.
Paulo Dybala was seen as the main man at Juventus until the arrival of Ronaldo.
The aforementioned publication also revealed that Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba could play a big role in luring Dybala to Old Trafford.
Both players enjoyed a very good working relationship when they played together for Juventus during the 2015/16 season before Pogba signed for Manchester United in the summer of 2016.
