Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has got something to say about his title pursuit behind Premier League leaders Liverpool after seeing his side defeat North London outfit Arsenal 3-1 on Sunday evening.
After the win against the Gunners, last season’s champions ended the day with two points behind Liverpool with the Reds having a game to spare which would be played on Monday against West Ham. Should they win; the Reds will be 5 points clear in the table.
According to the Spanish boss, winning will be easy for their title rivals because they are already on top of the log and not playing catch-up.
Pep Guardiola, therefore, confessed that the Merseyside club are in a better position to win the English Premier League title this season as he noted that he prefers to be in the position Liverpool are at the moment.
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss, therefore, stated that his side will try as much as possible to calm because the season only gets tougher by each game.
However, all hope is not lost for Pep Guardiola and his team as they are still positive that they can still land the title for the second consecutive time this season.
