English Premier League outfit Tottenham have been told that there are transfer lessons they can learn from league leaders Liverpool to be able to become the become title challenger they want to be.
This is the view of BT Sport pundit Jermaine Jenas who was reaching to the alleged interest coming in for Tottenham star player Christian Eriksen from Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid.
It is obvious that manager Mauricio Pochettino is not ready to part ways with the star player and he has been told that it is not the way to go if he must sustain the pressure for the title challenge.
According to him, Liverpool were able to sell Brazilian international Philippe Coutinho in a big money deal to Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona and that was all they needed to do to become title contenders.
The £142 million cash in from the sale of the Brazilian was used to fund the signature of Virgil Va Dijk, Alisson Becker and Naby Keita and all of these players have helped defined the Reds season.
There is no doubt about Liverpool’s challenge for the Premier League title this season as they are now seven points ahead of second-placed defending champions Man City.
