Former champions Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is upbeat that his side can still win the English Premier League title this season, not minding the points between both sides.

He stated that all that is needed to be done is to mount pressure on the league leaders by winning all of their games, starting from the 3-1 clash against Arsenal on Sunday.

He made it clear that their strength has to be shown in all of the games they play because of the chances that the Merseyside club can lose a game in coming weeks.

Pep Guardiola stated that he is aware of the fact that a number of managers will always stay glued to their televisions to see how his side play and they will be able to place under pressure if they see nothing negative in his games.

The former Bayern Munich boss stated that his side have to exhibit the spirit of a contender by fighting to the end.

However, the Reds team are understood to be under pressure especially after seeing a 1-1 draw against Leicester City at the weekend instead of a win to secure a 7 points clear lead over their Premier League rivals Man City.
