Italian Serie A champions Juventus are reportedly eyeing a summer return for influential Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

This is according to the report from popular English news outlet Daily Mirror which claimed that the Old Lady won’t give up on a move for French World Cup winner Paul Pogba.

The 25-year-old returned to Manchester United from Juventus in the summer for a then world-record fee of £89m and he was linked with a return to the Juventus Stadium especially when Jose Mourinho was the Red Devils manager.

Pogba had left Manchester United for Juventus four years earlier with the Italians paying compensation for him as a Red Devils Academy graduate.

Mourinho and Pogba had a fractious relationship and that played a major part in the low output recorded by the team under his watch.

The Portuguese tactician was dismissed in December and subsequently replaced by ex-Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who has transformed the fortunes of the club in a short space of time including that of Paul Pogba.

Pogba was heavily linked with a return to Juventus under Mourinho with reports claiming that he could leave last month but his recent renaissance at Old Trafford has put any possible transfer in doubt.
