Borussia Dortmund forward Shinji Kagawa is closing in on a loan move to French Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco before the end of the current January transfer window.
Sky Sports Germany claim that the Japanese international player will join the struggling French club on loan from German Bundesliga league leaders Borussia Dortmund for the remainder of the season.
Shinji Kagawa was on the payroll at Premier League giants Manchester United before going back to Borussia Dortmund in 2014.
The Japanese player scored six goals in 38 appearances for Manchester United in the Premier League during his two-year spell at Old Trafford between 2012 and 2014.
Kagawa had joined the Red Devils from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2012 before returning to the Signa Iduna Park two years later.
He has scored 20 German Bundesliga goals in 97 games upon his return to Borussia Dortmund.
Shinji Kagawa was not been able to play regularly for Borussia Dortmund under new manager Lucien Favre this season with the club leading the German Bundesliga table at the moment.
He would be a fantastic addition to the AS Monaco team with the French club battling relegation at the moment.
AS Monaco are just one point off the bottom of the table with 15 points only.
Deal On: Inter Plotting Summer Move For Man Utd Striker
Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan are planning a big money move for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku during this summer’s transfer window.
According to Sky Sports News, Inter Milan want to sign two players from the Premier League including the aforementioned Lukaku.
Inter Milan are expected to make Antonio Conte their new manager in the coming days and the Italian tactician has demanded the signing of Belgian national team striker Lukaku.
Romelu Lukaku signed for Manchester United from fellow Premier League club Everton in the summer of 2016.
The Red Devils were said to have paid around £75m to secure his signing from the Merseyside giants.
He finished as the Red Devils’ topscorer in his first season at the club before experiencing a topsy-turvy second campaign at the Theatre of Dreams.
Romelu Lukaku scored 12 goals in 32 games in the Premier League this season as he played second fiddle to Marcus Rashford as the Red Devils’ lone striker for much of the season.
It was revealed that Antonio Conte also wants Chelsea loanee Victor Moses at Inter Milan.
Retired Super Eagles winger Victor Moses is currently on loan at Turkish club Fenerbahce whom he joined during the winter transfer window.
Deal Close!!! Liverpool to confirm this signing in coming days
It has been hinted, according to media reports that the English Premier League outfit Liverpool are set to confirm their first summer transfer sighing after claims that they have an agreement with young Polish shot stopper Jakub Ojrzynski.
This might not be the signing the Reds fans have been waiting for but it is claimed in an exclusive story covered by Football Insider that the Merseyside outfit have already agreed on personal terms with the 16-year-old as they have been convinced with his quality for the future.
It has been reported that the Reds team were not alone in the chase of Jakub Ojrzynski as Man United, Juventus and Valencia were also keen on his signature after sending scouts to watch the teenager.
The report adds that Jakub Ojrzynski will cost the Reds team the sum of £200,000 and it is already being argued to be well under the value of the 16-year-old.
However, having seen the quality in Brazilian international Alisson Becker, Liverpool have now acknowledged the importance of having a good stopper in the middle of the post.
Alison Becker has been able to bring in a level of balance in the manager Jurgen Klopp’s defence which resulted in a number of clean sheets in the last campaign.
Deal Done!!! Liverpool fans react to a confirmed transfer deal
The English Premier League outfit Liverpool fans are not happy about the latest development that the club’s major target Julian Brandt has left the German Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen to join Borussia Dortmund.
The Reds have been on the chase of Julian Brandt since the last January winter transfer window but that is now over as he has been confirmed to be a Borussia Dortmund player for the sum of £22 million, a fee that can be afforded by the manager Jurgen Klopp team.
It would be recalled that the Merseyside outfit came close to securing the signature of Julian Brandt in 2017 but the deal failed to work through until they captured the Egyptian international Mohamed Salah from the Italian Serie A outfit AS Roma.
However, the fans have approached social media to express their disappointment in the club for allowing most of their top targets sign for other teams.
One of the fans noted that same Borussia Dortmund captured Nico Schultz, Thorgan Hazard and now Julian Brandt.
Meanwhile, this might not be a surprise to some of the fans after learning manager Jurgen Klopp statement that he would not want to distract his team by bringing in big names in the summer transfer window.
No Deal!!! Liverpool player going nowhere, says he is still at Anfield
The English Premier League outfit Liverpool young goalkeeper Shamal George has refuted claims that he is leaving the Anfield as he stated that he is still a Reds’ player ahead of the season.
Shamal George is currently with the youth team and hoping that he gets an opportunity to be in the first team anytime soon as he reflects on how the season went for him on his social media page.
There were fears that he could leave the club, knowing that he is of big quality and has a bright future but that has been dismissed despite claims that he already has some suitors who are seeking for his signature.
Shamal George is only 21 years old but he has been able to meet up with the U23 team and that has been his level of experience, especially since he has had loan spells with Tranmere Rovers and Carlisle United in the past.
Should Shamal George eventually break into the first team, he would be faced with the challenge of beating the competition from Brazilian international Alisson Becker who has helped to stabilize the Reds defence.
Liverpool suffered disappointment in the 2017/2018 season as a result of poor goalkeeping but that has been corrected by Alisson Becker.
Deal ON!!! Liverpool have found the answer to next season’s title bid
The Merseyside outfit have been told that Harry Wilson remains the secret weapon they need to acquire to be able to compete for the English Premier League in the coming season.
The Reds team missed out of the title with just a point behind champions, Man City and that was just enough to end their dream of breaking the deadlock of not winning the domestic league since 1989.
Harry Wilson has been the revelation this season in the manager Frank Lampard’s team as he is currently on loan with Championship side, Derby County.
The Wales international was able to deliver 18 goals in one season and provided six assists to help his team secure a playoff spot for a return to the English Premier league.
Harry Wilson’s performance has caught the attention of a number of Liverpool fans with the hope that he would be asked to return to the club for a first team football.
Manager Jurgen Klopp has been saved by the fact that he would not need to pay any fee to land Harry Wilson because he remains a Liverpool player from his youth age.
Harry Wilson has been tipped to be the next Sadio Mane at the Anfield and it would not be a bad idea for Harry Wilson to add to the strength of the Liverpool attack.
Done Deal: Man Utd Target Agrees Benfica Terms
Barcelona shot stopper Jasper Cillessen has agreed to personal terms with Portuguese giants Benfica according to the publication from Goal.
Benfica have reached an agreement with Jasper Cillessen but Barcelona are still holding out for more money for his transfer.
Benfica value him at around €15m but Barcelona is holding out for €25m.
Dutch international Cillessen wants to leave Spanish champions Barcelona this summer after failing to usurp German shot stopper Marc Andre Ter Stegen as the first choice goalkeeper at the Nou Camp.
The 30-year-old has previously been linked with a move to Premier League giants Manchester United as a potential replacement for David De Gea if the Spaniard decides to leave the Old Trafford this summer.
De Gea has one year left on his current deal with the Red Devils.
Manchester United will have to look elsewhere for a replacement if De Gea leaves the club with Benfica closing in on a summer move for the former Ajax Amsterdam goalkeeper.
Jasper Cillesen has made just five league appearances during his three-year spell at Barcelona following his move from Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax Amsterdam and he’s keen to leave the club in search of more first team opportunities.
In total, the ex-Ajax Amsterdam goalkeeper has made ten appearances for Barcelona in all competitions this season.
Deal On: Man Utd To Bid For Premier League Star In 48hrs
Premier League giants Manchester United have concluded plans to step up their interest in Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff.
This is according to widespread reports coming out of the media in the United Kingdom.
Manchester United have been attracted to the quality shown by Sean Longstaff after his impressive debut season for the Newcastle United first team.
According to the specific publication from the Daily Telegraph, Manchester United will make an official bid for the young midfielder in the next 48hrs.
Newcastle United are reluctant to sell Sean Longstaff and they have debunked the transfer rumours linking him with a move to Manchester United according to recent reports.
Sean Longstaff has been a hit at Newcastle United after he broke into the first team this season.
He formed a potent central midfield partnership with Isaac Hayden in the Newcastle United midfield before he suffered a serious knee injury.
Sean Longstaff played nine league games for the Magpies and he’s presently rated £25m.
The Newcastle United Academy graduate previously spent loan spells at Scottish club Kilmarnock and English League One outfit Blackpool before making his first team debut in the Premier League.
Manchester United are expected to bolster their midfield options this summer ahead of the new season in August and Sean Longstaff could be a perfect candidate for the job.
Deal On: Newcastle Join Race To Sign Man Utd Playmaker
Premier League club Newcastle United are the latest team to show an interest in signing Manchester United playmaker Juan Manuel Mata.
According to The Sun, Newcastle United want to sign Mata this summer as they try to bolster their squad ahead of the new Premier League campaign billed to start on the 9th of August.
It was also revealed that a move for Spanish international Mata will be dependent on whether compatriot Rafael Benitez stays on as the Newcastle United manager.
Benitez is in talks with Newcastle United over a new contract.
His current Newcastle United contract expires this summer.
Juan Manuel Mata is also in the same situation as his Manchester United contract expires this summer.
The former Chelsea player joined Manchester United from Chelsea in January 2014 after the Blues paid around £37.1m for his transfer.
Recent reportes claimed that Manchester United have offered him an improved contract offer in their quest to extend his stay at Old Trafford beyond this summer.
Apart from Newcastle United, Mata has also been linked with fellow Premier League club Arsenal.
Gunners boss Unai Emery worked with Mata while he was at Spanish La Liga club Valencia.
Spanish champions Barcelona are also interested in a free transfer move for Mata.
Read Deal!!! Why Sarri was snubbed by star player in the past
It has been revealed that West London outfit Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri was left disappointed after Cagliari star midfielder Nicolo Barella turned down the opportunity to join the Stamford Bridge in the last January winter transfer window.
Nicolo Barella was reportedly available for a move to the Stamford Bridge with the Italian Serie A side willing to let him leave but the move was blocked by the player on claims that he wants to remain in the country because of his family.
It was expected that Nicolo Barella joins the club as a replacement for France international Cesc Fabregas who left the club to join French Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco.
However, manager Maurizio Sarri could still be interested in a move for Nicolo Barella but they will again be stopped by the transfer ban on the team after falling short of FIFA rules.
It is also unclear if Nicolo Barella is still willing to leave Italy as he could still hold the excuse of wanting to be with his family.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have got France international N’Golo Kante, Jorginho at the midfield while there are possibilities of adding up Mateo Kovacic who is on loan from Spanish La Liga side Real Madrid.
Why Sarri’s Juventus move could still happen
It has been suggested that there is a possibility of manager Maurizio Sarri moving away from the West London outfit Chelsea to join the Italian Serie A champions Juventus ahead of the coming season.
There are speculations that the Italian boss could be sacked by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich as he is not convinced about his ability to deliver success while his relationship with the fans remains a major concern.
It is therefore claimed that Roman Abramovich will wait for the outcome of the Europa League finals before making a decision on the future of the former Napoli boss.
However, Maurizio Sarri has already been linked with a return to Italy as he is reportedly wanted by a number of clubs in the Serie A including AS Roma and Juventus.
Serie A champions Juventus’ manager Allegri has already declared his decision to leave the club and manager Maurizio is being linked with a switch which he has dismissed but there are feelers that the move could still happen if he lose his job with the Blues team.
It is therefore claimed that Maurizio Sarri has met with the criteria needed at the Old Lady and is tipped to succeed if handed the job but that will not happen should Chelsea decide to keep him for the coming season.
Although the performance of the Blues team was not convincing in the concluding season the Italian boss has managed to help the Blues team return to Champions League with a top-four finish.
