Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin has revealed that Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan won’t accept loan or swap offers for in-demand forward Ivan Perisic.
As reported by Football London, Biasin revealed that Inter Milan will only sanction a transfer for Perisic if they receive a concrete offer for him.
The experienced media personnel was reacting to the news that Premier League giants Arsenal have opened talks for the Croatian international winger.
It was revealed that the Gunners want to sign him on loan for the rest of the season with the option to make the transfer permanent for £35m in the summer.
2018 FIFA World Cup star Perisic is the latest player to be linked with a move to North London giants Arsenal.
He was one of the standout stars of last summer’s FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia where he helped Croatia reach the final of the tournament before they were beaten by eventual champions France in their final clash.
The Gunners have little or no finance to work within this winter transfer window.
Arsenal manager Unai Emery had earlier revealed that the Gunners can only strengthen the team with loan transfers.
Perisic has previously been linked with Gunners’ top four rivals Manchester United.
