Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has made a big claim of Alisson Becker as they both fight to keep making the first team in the manager Jurgen Klopp team.
Alisson Becker only joined the Reds in the last summer window and he went into the team to become the first choice ahead of Simon Mignolet who has been with the team.
Simon Mignolet stated that the competition with the Brazilian international has not been an easy one to go by as he gives up to being the second choice goalkeeper.
Although, manager Jurgen Klopp has made it that Simon Mignolet appears for the second time this season in the League Cup third round defeat to Chelsea at Anfield.
He has now come out to confess the supremacy of the former AS Roma star stopper but noted that it has not been an easy challenge for him at the Anfield.
Simon Mignolet, therefore, rate Alisson Becker as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, stressing that he falls within the first five in the ranking of the world.
However, the Belgian said he will continue to work hard, as usual, to ensure he and his Liverpool side get better to be able to deliver silverware this time around.
