English Premier League outfit Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has given his reaction to his side’s win over North London outfit Tottenham in the Carabao Cup on Thursday night.
The game had ended in a 2-2 draw before heading into penalties where the West London side eventually came out victorious to move on to the next stage.
The Italian boss stated that his side now seems to have overcome their motivation challenge with the won over their London rivals, stressing that the game was more of an improvement form the last three, four matches.
Sarri hailed his Blues side for putting up a different spirit and giving a positive reaction in the game, not minding all that transpired in the past.
It would be recalled that the West London side saw encountered a shock defeat against the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium last weekend in the Premier League and that left to the manager bashing the players.
Sarri told the players that they are difficult to motivate as he slammed them for the poor outing for the game.
The manager was also blasted by the fans and other stakeholders for having to come after the players because of the defeat, stressing that there was no need for that.
