How United offended former boss Alex Ferguson

Former Manchester United manager and legendary boss Alex Ferguson is well respected by the club and highly valued because of the achievements he has had at the Old Trafford.

However, his last wish for the club failed to be respected or followed which is the reason why the club has continued to struggle since his departure after winning the 20th Premier League title for the.

Paul Scholes, one of United’s legends gave this revelation when he stated that the manager wanted some of the Old players, especially the Class of 1992 to be fully involved in the running of the club at the management level.

However, this has failed to materialize with Paul Scholes insinuating that the refusal to listen to the words of the legendary manager has hunted the club.

He tries to liken the shape, style and focus of the current United team under a former player to that of the past managers who never played at the club.

According to him, United new interim manager and former forward, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gives the clue of what the team should be and how they should operate on the pitch.

Paul Scholes described it as strange, knowing that the club failed to listen to the words of the former boss.
