Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has grumbled over the decision of his former side to let right full-back Nathaniel Clyne leave the Anfield to Bournemouth on loan this winter window.

Nathaniel Clyne was last week announced to have joined the Premier League newcomers in order to secure more playing time after recovering from a back injury which sidelined him for about 257 days.

It has been very difficult for Nathaniel Clyne to return back into the manager Jurgen Klopp’s team since his return which makes him clamour for a move away from the club to be able to regain his form.

However, the Liverpool former player hailed Nathaniel Clyne as he noted that he will bring the needed consistency at Bournemouth with his ability.

Carragher expressed shock at the report that Nathaniel Clyne had left the club as he expected a player of such quality to be made to remain, stressing that he will add more value to the team.

According to him, Nathaniel Clyne was involved in the Reds game against Man United and was impressive which is enough for the manager to keep him.

However, suggestions are that Nathaniel Clyne would be made to return to the club at the end of the season should he give in an impressive performance at Bournemouth.
