Arsenal have given Italian Serie A giants Juventus conditions to be met for them to sanction the transfer of midfielder Aaron Ramsey in the current transfer window this month.
Italian journalist Nicolo Schira confirmed that the Italians have to meet the Arsenal conditions to sign Ramsey in January.
He revealed this via his official Twitter handle.
Schira revealed that two-time European champions Juventus can only sign Welsh international star Ramsey if they pay £18m for him or let Moroccan defender Mehdi Benatia join the Gunners.
Italian champions Juventus might have to wait till the summer to get their man on a free transfer despite the fact that sporting director Fabricio Patirici would like to boost the Old Lady squad with Aaron Ramsey in January.
Ramsey, 28, has less than six months left on his current deal with the Gunners and he’s edging closer to a Juventus transfer after undergoing the first part of his medicals ahead of a free transfer move in the summer.
Senior Arsenal officials opted against offering Aaron Ramsey a new contract and that led to interests from major European clubs including Italian Serie A outfit Juventus.
Several clubs were interested in the Welshman but it seems like Juventus have won the race for him.
