French news outlet L’Equipe has revealed that European moneybags Paris Saint Germain (PSG) will offer Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey a contract in January.
The French Ligue 1 champions are the latest club to show interest in the highly sought-after Welshman and they are ready to offer him an 18-month contract according to the aforementioned publication.
PSG became the moneybags of European football following the transfers of the forward duo of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
Both players are the two most expensive players in the history of world football.
PSG won’t need to break the bank for Ramsey who’s expected to leave Arsenal in the New Year.
The 27-year-old has just six months remaining on his current Gunners deal and senior Arsenal officials have informed him that there would be no contract extension for him.
French capital club PSG want to sign the Welsh international star when the January transfer window reopens in few days time though the player has openly said that he would like to see out the remaining months in his Arsenal contract.
Aaron Ramsey will be a direct replacement for PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
Young Frenchman Rabiot is in the same position as Ramsey with six months left on his contract with the French moneybags.
