Italian Serie A giants Juventus have reportedly booked a medical for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey ahead of his free transfer move to the club.
According to Spanish media outlet Sport, the Italians have booked a medical for Sunday with the free transfer signing of Ramsey expected to be made official soonest.
Earlier this month, news broke that Aaron Ramsey has signed a pre-contract agreement with the Old Lady and that he will move to the Juventus Stadium in the summer upon the expiration of his Gunners contract.
The Welsh international playmaker has less than six months left on his contract with North London giants Arsenal and this means that he can start talks over a potential free transfer move with clubs outside of England.
A lot of clubs were keen on a move for Ramsey but it seems like Italian champions Juventus have won the race to sign him ahead of the other suitors.
German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, as well as the Italian top flight trio of AS Roma, AC Milan and Inter Milan, were also said to be interested in the 28-year-old at some point.
Premier League clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool have all been mentioned as likely destinations for the former Club
