At first, Porto’s attacking midfielder Éder Militão was valued at €42m by the Portuguese club and Manchester United showed an immediate interest in his services.
After some months, Porto shocked the Red Devils when they increase the player’s price tag from initial €42m to €50m.
According to Correio da Manhã, Porto’s decision appeared as a shock to the Premier League outfits but other clubs were happy to join the race for his signature.
The media outlet reported in December that Real Madrid, Liverpool and Barcelona were eager to capture the former Sao Paolo’s impressive midfielder.
However, latest report surrounding Militão’s future now suggest that Porto have increased his price tag yet again.
Almost all every Portuguese media outlets, including Jornal de Notícias, Record and O Jogo, claimed that Porto are now looking to receive a huge amount of money for his signature.
They unanimously revealed that the player’s newest price tag is €75m and that could force United to pull out of his race.
The Old Trafford outfits are not ready to pay such mammoth price for Éder Militão and they may turn their attention to other available options. Madrid now leads the park for the player’s services following the increase in his price tag.
United are yet to complete any signing so far but that could change any moment from now as reports (via The Sun) suggest they are on the verge of beating Arsenal to Carrasco’s services
