Premier League club Arsenal have slapped a £20m asking price on midfielder Aaron Ramsey for interested clubs in this January transfer window.
This is despite the fact that he has just six months left on his current deal with the Gunners.
The £20m asking price was confirmed by Italian media outlet Gazzetta.it with Italian Serie A champions Juventus keen on a move for the Welsh international star.
Earlier reports had claimed that the Italian giants have already agreed on a deal for Ramsey to move to the Juventus Stadium and that the player has already signed a pre-contract agreement.
It was revealed that Ramsey has signed a pre-contract with the Old Lady though the Italians didn’t mind signing him permanently in the current transfer market rather than wait for him to join as a free agent in the summer
Juventus have offered him a five-year contract with annual wages of £5.63m.
Ramsey is expected to team up with Cristiano Ronaldo and others at the Juventus Stadium after they won the race to sign him ahead of other European heavyweights like Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Manchester United, Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and others.
Ramsey will leave Arsenal this year after the North Londoners failed to offer him a contract extension.
