Reports according to Sunday Express claim the Blues will submit an offer worth £50 million to secure the signature of the Uruguay star who plies his trade with French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain.
Edinson Cavani is a name to reckon with in the French Ligue 1 because of his impressive performance, feat and class. He will be remembered as the most expensive signing in French history from Napoli to PSG about six years ago.
The star striker featured in the 2018 World Cup held in Russia and had two goals under his belt in the game against Portugal to help his side reach the quarter-finals.
Chelsea will hope they are able to land the star player as a replacement for under firing Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud in the second half of the season.
