Klopp returns for long-standing target as first major January deal

English Premier League leader Liverpool could have their first deal of the January transfer window following reports that manager Jurgen Klopp has returned with an offer for long-term target Nabil Fekir.

Qatari source Alkass Channel reports that the Merseyside club are desperate to wrap up a deal for the star player after a failed attempt in the summer transfer window.

Although French Ligue 1 outfit Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas is reluctant to release the star player Liverpool are ready to do all it takes by also, breaking the bank to ensure the capture of Nabi

Liverpool are reported to have beaten interests for the player from West London side Chelsea which makes it a more easier job for them to do.

However, it is expected that an official offer would be tabled within the week to ensure further discussions that will bring about a deal in this winter transfer window.

Nabil Fekir is expected to add more quality to the Reds attack as he could provide the link from the midfield which is one of his biggest strengths as a football player.

Liverpool are hopeful of a title win this season and they ready to give it the good fight to achieve their aim.
