Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an update on possible reinforcements in the current January transfer window.
Solskjaer talked about January transfers during his latest interview ahead of the Red Devils’ FA Cup third round clash at home to English Championship side Reading billed to take place at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
The former Manchester United striker said that he will sit down with chief executive Ed Woodward to discuss the plans for this January transfer window.
He also pointed out that the club would have put a transfer plan in place before he was appointed as the Manchester United manager until the end of the season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was named the interim manager at Manchester United in December following the dismissal of Jose Mourinho.
Portuguese coach Mourinho lost his job after an underwhelming sequence of results since the start of this season.
Since his appointment, Solskjaer has led Manchester United to four straight wins in the Premier League which has seen them move to within six points of the Champions League places.
He would be hoping that his team can make it five wins from as many games when they host Championship strugglers Reading in the FA Cup on Saturday.
