English Premier League outfit Chelsea have been told to expect some disappointment in their attempt to snap up Callum Wilson from Bournemouth in the January transfer window.

Giving reasons for his claim, the Premier League pundit stated that Eddie Howe’s team lacks depth which is so glaring that will ensure that any bid for any of the star players is rejected.

The West London side have since been monitoring the star player following his impressive performance from the start of the season which has yet to stop having scored a total of eight goals and six assists, more than any of the Chelsea attackers in the 19 Premier League appearances under his belt.

Admitting that the Blues will make an attempt for Callum Wilson but the possibility of succeeding in their mission is low.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Paul Merson noted that the West London side are in need of more additions especially in the attack but could not make any claim on the player expected to join the Stamford Bridge in this January transfer window.

The Blues are currently fourth in the Premier League table and they seek to guide the position with better results in the second half of the season.
