Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has urged the duo of Anthony Martial and David De Gea to sign respective new contracts at the club to secure their long-term futures with the Red Devils despite the various transfer rumours linking them with an exit from Old Trafford.

Ex-Red Devils striker Solskjaer further said that both players can seal their spots in the club’s history by doing that.

The Norwegian tactician was speaking ahead of his side’s home clash with Bournemouth in the Premier League.

He would be hoping to make it three wins from three games when the Cherries visit Old Trafford to face his Manchester United side.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a hundred percent record since he was named the interim Manchester United manager following the dismissal of Jose Mourinho earlier this month.

Both Martial and De Gea have been heavily linked with exits from Manchester United despite the fact that the club exercised the additional year clause in their respective contracts to take the two players to the summer of 2020.

Both players had six months left on their contracts before the club took up that option.

Anthony Martial has been linked with Inter Milan, while David De Gea has been attracting interests from both Juventus and Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
