West London side Chelsea have now gone ahead of Liverpool and Barcelona for the signature of French Ligue 1 outfit, Paris Saint Germain star Adrien Rabiot as they are reported to have opened talks with the footballer.

Adrien Rabiot is keen to quit the French Ligue 1 club having fallen out with the manager with all pleas for him to sign a new deal yet to yield any result.

The French player is expected to come in as a replacement for Spain international Cesc Fabregas and former Leicester City star Danny Drinkwater who are both keen to leave the Stamford Bridge as a result of lack of playing time at the club.

Adrien Rabiot has been impressive so far this season and has been a subject of speculations to many European sides as a result of his quality which is well known.

Reports say Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is ready to break the bank for the player and he is desperate to see the talks fall through so that a bid can be submitted as soon as the winter transfer is reopened.

So far this season, Rabiot already has 15 games under his belt and has been able to score 2 goals and made one assist across all competition.
