English Premier League leaders Liverpool are keen to win their first major title in the first major title in many years and it seems this year could just be their year.

The Reds came close to winning a title last season after reaching the finals of the UEFA Champions League but to be beaten by Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid and also finishing second place in the Premier League table.

However, the Merseyside club have started this season on a high and they have entered the Christmas season as league leaders with four points clear from Manchester City.

With the second half of the season expected to begin in January, the Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has told his players what he wants from them within the period.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss told his side that they must improve in the second half of the season if they must maintain the lead knowing that it will be more difficult than the first half.

Klopp admitted he did not have any big expectation this season but wants his side to go ahead with the good job so as to win the league this season ahead of other Premier League rivals like Manchester City and Chelsea.
