Liverpool star Ovie Ejaria who is currently on loan with Rangers has officially told the club that he wants to have a move away.
This was revealed by Rangers boss Steven who stated that Ovie Ejaria made his stand known ahead of the winter transfer window by stating that he wants to leave for football reasons.
The player is believed to be unsettled at the club with suggestions that he is angered for not being allowed to travel with the team for their Europa League clash away to Rapid Vienna.
The Liverpool legend, therefore, expressed disappointment in the player’s decision, stating that he will not force him into remaining with the club against his wish.
He noted that Ovie Ejaria has not made the right decision to have cut short his loan spell because he will be missing the golden opportunity to develop as a young player.
However, Steven Gerrard affirmed that he will have to accept the decision in good faith and move on with the rest of the players who are also important as well.
The Liverpool legend will now be left with no choice than to move on by making efforts to recruit an attacking midfielder in the winter window.
