Italian Serie A giants Juventus have rebuffed the interest of Premier League side Manchester United in one of their players.

Manchester United are interested in Juventus winger Douglas Costa with various reports claiming that the Red Devils have already made a big bid for the Brazilian international star.

Italian media publication Rai Sport claim that Juventus have no plans to sell Douglas Costa few months after he secured a permanent transfer to the Juventus Stadium.

Douglas Costa initially joined the club on a season-long loan from German champions Bayern Munich at the start of the last campaign.

His transfer was secured permanently after Juventus paid around €44m for his signature.

Douglas Costa had scored six goals for Juventus last season but he’s yet to score for his club this season.

Earlier reports claimed that the Red Devils were keen on a £36m bid for him.

Douglas Costa could be a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez who’s in favour of leaving the club when the transfer window reopens next month.

Alexis Sanchez is currently out of action with a hamstring injury.

The Chilean wants to leave the club after his unimpressive form for the Red Devils with just four goals in 30 appearances.
