With negotiations still unsuccessful for Liverpool defender Andy Robertson, a move could still be on the cards for him in the coming winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

There were earlier reports that Andy Robertson will sign a new and improved deal with the Reds to have him remain at the club much longer but that seems to not be working out with the negotiations yet to be successful over personal terms.

Andy Robertson who joined Liverpool in 2017 from Hull City has grown to become a special member of the manager Jurgen Klopp side but that could no longer happen again.

The current contract for Andy Robertson ends in 2019 but the negotiation is expected to have a deal for him until 2021 with an improved offer.

Should an agreement is failed to be reached, Andy Robertson would be free to speak to suitors as from January 2019 so as to find a new club of his choice.

The Merseyside club are, however, desperate to keep their squad together in their bid to win the first title in many years in addition to manager Jurgen Klopp who is yet to win a trophy in his three years reign at the Anfield.
