AC Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso has reacted to speculations that his star player Gonzalo Higuain would be moving to the West London outfit Chelsea in the winter transfer window.

It is no longer news that Gonzalo Higuain is linked with Chelsea in a deal that will have Blues striker Alvaro Morata swap the opposite direction on a loan deal.

The Spanish striker has been struggling which makes manager Maurizio Sarri consider finding a replacement for him with Gonzalo Higuain in the coming transfer window.

Reacting to the speculations, the Italian Serie A boss Gattuso stated that the club has the final decision to make on the matter but stated that his player has been impressive in recent time which will make it difficult for the club to sanction a move for him away.

According to him, the striker is struggling to score goals and he is unhappy about it as usual which to him would improve.

However, Morata is not alone in the bad scoring form at the West London side with French striker Olivier Giroud also not firing for the Blues despite having the strong backing of the Italian boss.

Giroud has been hailed by Sarri as an important member of the team who has his style and way of contributing to the success of the team
