English Premier League giants Liverpool are reported to be making move for Sporting Lisbon star Gelson Dala ahead of the winter transfer window.

Should a move fall through for Gelson Dala, he will be the second Angola footballer that will ever play in the Premier League with Manucho being the only player and his spell with Manchester United and Hull City ended as a flop.

Reports according to Portuguese outlet Bola claim that a number of clubs are interested in the signature of the star striker but the Merseyside club are in the front queue and will have his signature should they submit luring bid for him.

Gelson Dala has so far scored a total of two goals in four games for the Primeira Liga outfit and has been tipped to be a great success at the Anfield with manager Jurgen Klopp being a big fan of the player.

The Reds are looking forward to securing more additions to the team so as to stretch ahead of the second stanza of the league which starts in January.

However, Liverpool are currently top in the Premier League table and they are looking forward to maintaining it all through the second part of the season.
