North London giants Arsenal are plotting a cut-price deal for highly rated Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez with two weeks left before the transfer window reopens.
This is according to the publication from popular English media portal Independent.
It was revealed that Barcelona have already told the player and his representatives that he can leave the club in the New Year for just £14m and the Gunners are ready to pounce on a potentially good deal.
Denis Suarez has been on the outskirts of the Barcelona first team since he returned to Nou Camp in 2016 after a successful loan spell at fellow Spanish side Villareal.
The 24-year-old had earlier spent some time on loan at Sevilla between 2014 and 2015.
Denis Suarez has been attracting the interests of a lot of European football since it became clear that he’s surplus to requirements at Barcelona.
Premier League sides Arsenal and Chelsea are among those keen on a transfer for the Spanish international midfielder.
Others are Italian Serie A giants Napoli as well as the Spanish La Liga duo of Sevilla and Valencia.
Seven-time European champions AC Milan have a depleted midfield due to several injuries and the Italians have identified Denis Suarez as one of their midfield transfer targets.
