There are indications that a West London side Chelsea will soon announce a deal for Napoli star Elseid Hysaj ahead of the January winter transfer window following reports that talks between both clubs have already started.
The Blues have been long term suitors with manager Maurizio Sarri seeking to have a reunion with Elseid Hysaj to strengthen his defence line.
According to the report, the West London side are ready to pay as high as £50 million to secure the service of the star defender as an earlier bid in the last summer was rejected by the Italian Serie A side.
Elseid Hysaj will well fit into the Blues team having known the tactics and style of the Italian manager as they have both worked together in the past.
Chelsea are only being delayed by the fact that Napoli are unwilling to let Elseid Hysaj leave the club knowing that he is one of the best defenders in the Serie A.
Meanwhile, the Blues team have got a number of defenders but there are suggestions that space would be created for Elseid Hysaj by Sarri just as it happened in the case with Jorginho who was handed a role at the detriment of French powerhouse N’Golo Kante.
