Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has made case for Cesc Fabregas and David Luiz after stating that he wants new deals for them.

Both players have already linked away from the Stamford Bridge with the former Barcelona man reported to be linked with Italian giants AC Milan.

Although, negotiations between both sides fell apart with a disagreement in the personal terms for the star player.

There are every indication that manager Maurizio Sarri is not interested in seeing any player leave the club having ensured that Cesar Azpilicueta followed N’Golo Kante, Pedro and Marcos Alonso to secure a new and improved contract.

With Fabregas yet to secure a new deal, the Italian boss is pushing for a new contract having known his importance on the team as well as David Luiz who is also improving in form.

It would be recalled that Fabregas made his intention to remain at the Stamford Bridge known stressing that he can be trusted by the manager as he has more years to play active football.

However, the former Napoli boss stated that he has held talks with the management in a bid to convince them to hand new contracts to the Spanish midfielder and the Brazilian defender.

Sarri is therefore positive that a deal can be handed to the duo as they will be needed knowing their wealth of experience.
