Chelsea is reportedly desperate to land Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Sebastien Haller as soon as the winter transfer window reopens.

The West London side is believed to be leading the race for the signature of Sebastien Haller but will not leave anything to chance until the deal has been dusted.

Sebastien Haller has become a necessity for the Stamford Bridge side with attackers Willian, Pedro, Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud failing to leave up to expectation.

The manager Maurizio Sarri side are now left with no choice than to move for additions as they are currently struggling to win games after suffering an embarrassing defeat to Tottenham at the weekend and now Wolves on Wednesday in the Premier League clashes.

Sebastien Haller has been tipped to be the best fit for the Stamford Bridge having scored a total of 11 goals in this season and 10 assists in 16 games across all competitions.

Although, the France international is tied to the German Bundelsiga side until 2021 with a release clause of £20 million but the Blues are tipped they can have a deal in place if they are able to pay big for the player.

Chelsea is now third in the Premier League table and has suffered a total of two defeats this season.
