Emerging reports indicate that Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas could still remain at the Stamford Bridge further than January when the winter transfer window reopens.

Cesc Fabregas has been out of favour at Chelsea under manager Maurizio Sarri who joined the club from Napoli in the last summer and is poised to leave the club for more playing time elsewhere.

Italian Serie A giants AC Milan were tipped to have won the race to sign the former Barcelona with reports that he would be heading to the San Siro in January when the winter transfer market is opened.

However, latest reports from Italy says Cesc Fabregas might no longer have a move to Italy as he failed to agree on personal term with the Serie A giants.

According to the report, his demands for weekly wages will not be met as it is more than the budget the club has in mind.

This, therefore, means he will have to remain at the Stamford Bridge or seek for a move elsewhere knowing that he has got a number of suitors who are interested in his signature as well.

Meanwhile, Fabregas claims he has many more years to play active football despite being 31 years of age.
