Liverpool have been encouraged in their bid for Fulham forward Aleksandar Mitrovic after they were told by former player John Aldridge that he will be a good addition to the team.

Noting that the Merseyside club have got great talents in the attack with Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, Brazilian Roberto Firmino and Senegal international Sadio Mane, John Aldridge stated that his side will have a strong bench with Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Aleksandar Mitrovic’s ability is well known to manager Jurgen Klopp seeing him play when the Reds played a 2-0 win against Fulham in the Premier League clash last weekend.

The 25-year-old forward had scored a goal in the game to prove his worth to his suitors it was controversially candled in the long run.

Aleksandar Mitrovic has scored 5 goals this season in 12 Premier League appearances not forgetting that he scored 12 times in 17 games in the Championship last season.

However, John Aldridge backed his former side to strike a deal for the player noting his strength, size and his ability to score goals as well which to him is different from what is already known at Anfield.

Meanwhile, Aleksandar Mitrovic is the same player for his Serbia national team side having scored 21 goals in 44 caps.
