Emerging reports reveal that new AC Milan chief Ivan Gazidis will seek to hold a meeting with the club’s targets Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cesc Fabregas ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in the coming months.
Ivan Gazidis’ work at San Siro is already beginning after parting ways with the North London side Arsenal in September as he is being offered a £1million rise on his £2.6m salary to take up the same role in Italy with the Serie A side.
The 54-year-old who officially resumed on Saturday will have the major responsibility of discussing and negotiating transfer dealings for the club especially with the winter window which is already around the corner.
Italian newspapers Corriere Dello Sport and Gazzetta Dello Sport report that Ibrahimovic and Fabregas are top targets for the club and the former Gunners chief will be doing a lot to convince them into moving along with the vision of the club.
Fabregas is believed to be unhappy with the West London club because of his inability to see enough games under new manager Maurizio Sarri.
The former Arsenal star had stated that he is happy at the club but noted that there is a need for him to play more as he is obviously at the peak of his career.
