Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez has his eyes firmly fixed on leaving the club after he was dropped from the Champions League squad on Tuesday.

According to the publication from popular English news outlet Daily Mirror, the Chilean international forward is keen to leave Manchester United in the next transfer window and that he’s in favour of a move to French La Liga giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG).

His bid to leave Manchester United was strengthened on Tuesday when manager Jose Mourinho dropped him entirely from the squad for the Champions League game against Swiss side Young Boys at Old Trafford.

Manchester United largely struggled against their opponents before Belgian international star Marouane Fellaini scored in added time to give the hosts a 1-0 win.

The result was enough to secure the Red Devils’ spot in the knockout stage of the competition.

Alexis Sanchez could be one of the costliest transfer mistakes as it seems like he has fallen out of favour with Jose Mourinho.

Their relationship is said to have reached a breaking point.

Alexis Sanchez signed for Manchester United from Arsenal in January in a swap deal involving Armenian player Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

He’s on a weekly wage of around £500,000 and he has a contract that does not run until the end of the 2021/22 season.
